THE IDEA

The concept for this browser app emerged not spontaneously, but from personal experience. Over time in one’s yoga practice, there comes a realization of the need to craft personalized sequences for each lesson. Additionally, for many yoga instructors, visualizing their lesson plans for students presents a significant challenge.

CREATION AS AN ILLUSTRATOR

As an illustrator, this project posed the challenge of creating a minimum of 100 pieces of aesthetically pleasing yoga cards. I utilized Procreate for the illustrations and Procreate Dreams for animation.

CREATION AS A UX/UI DESIGNER

My next role in this project was as a web designer. The primary goal was to create a minimalistic, intuitive, and user-friendly interface. The layout was crafted using Figma, with partial implementation of Bootstrap.

DEVELOPMENT AS A FRONTEND DEVELOPER

The main tool used to create this application was React.js. Additionally, I utilized several excellent libraries, including Redux for global state management, i18next for language file creation, GSAP for animating page elements, and dnd-kit for drag-and-drop functionality.

DEVELOPMENT AS A BACKEND DEVELOPER

As a MERN developer on this project, I used MongoDB to store user lessons and Node js with Express js to build the backend infrastructure.
